Pokemon Sun and Moon. What's it going to be like?

The new Pokémon game is only a couple of months away and the build up has been endless. Multiple new creatures being announced, old Pokémon from Generation 1 receiving a new look, a new setting with new villians. The number of trailers that have been published all seem amazing in my opinion. I have always been an avid supporter of the Pokémon franchise and I always will.

The new games with their covers. The Pokémon look, interesting. 

While there will be some new characters and a new setting it will no doubt have the same concept. Travel across the land, grow stronger and stronger with your Pokémon. Climb through the ranks by winning gym battles, defeat the bad guys along the way before becoming the Pokémon master. While most people criticize this structure as it's been used countlessly by the previous games, I don’t mind it, because quite frankly this kind of structure is present in a vast majority of popular games anyway. From the Zelda franchise, to the Batman Arkham series. The Assassin's Creed series and even Fallout. They all follow the same concept. But it's the story and the gameplay in each game that truly defines them and makes them unique and joyful to each of us.

Moving back to Pokémon Sun and Moon, by the looks of the trailers, it may seem we are in for another amazing experience. I thoroughly enjoy the setting, having it situated on different islands. It may make the game feel more adventurous. As always, there are new Pokémon to encounter, as well as some old ones that look very different. Personally, I like the look of Marowak. Making them a fire twirler was a very nice way to go. And of course, there are the new legendaries. While I'm not overly, excited about them, I do welcome them as there has always been new legendaries in each new generation. But, I would be very excited if they brought back the old legendaries as well. I can definitely see Lugia being in this kind of setting, what with the tropical islands and sea of course.

So there you have it. My opinion on the matter. The game will be out on November 18th. Make sure to preorder it, because I do believe there will be some exclusive items with it. And if you do happen to buy it by then, happy hunting and safe travels. That's all for me. Stay tuned later on.
